There is, among many other wonderful things in Columbus, the most fantastic ice cream you will ever eat in your life. It is called Jeni’s. The flavors aren’t just regular flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc. They are things like “Salty Caramel,” “Gravel Road,” “Goat Cheese with Roasted Red Cherries” and my personal favorite, ” Queen City Cayenne.” From now on when someone asks what my favorite ice cream flavor is, I am going to say, “Queen City Cayenne.” I don’t care how confused the response is. The cayenne ice cream is chocolate-y, spicy, and absolutely wonderful. So now we come to the sad part of the story… I had to put myself on a two-week Jeni’s probation. (Trust me it was necessary after all the Jeni’s I consumed the first week I was here). Jeni’s probation was to end on Friday, June 18th. Instead, I BROKE PROBATION and got it tonight. Watch out guys, I am crazy-wild. I had a half scoop of Salty Caramel and a half scoop of Belgian Milk Chocolate. It was delightful. It was worth breaking probation. I would do it all over again.
